At the time, the compensation they got was so little, they ended up spending everything a while ago. Now they don't have any land and they don't have any money either. They're farmers who aren't like farmers and city dwellers who aren't like city dwellers. They're actually a lot of vagrants. Living in this way, they'll find themselves living in slums soon.
