我也很想去拉萨看一看。如果你们对藏羚羊有兴趣,应该看一部电影叫”Mountain Patrol."是非常有意思的,故事是关于藏的偷猎问题。

Great lesson and great comments. I understood this concept before listening to the lesson, but now I feel like I have an even deeper understanding. Keep these kinds of episodes coming! Who knew that so much info could be packed into seven minutes.

多谢你们。

Generally speaking the reason organic foods are "more expensive" is because the organic movement is not a part of the larger industrial farming complex. That is to say that many of the non-organic foods have been subsidized by the government in order to give mega corporations tax breaks and growing incentives. In reality the idea of cost depends on how you look at it. When we initial buy non-organic food we might not be paying the full price of the good. Once you factor in health risks and social issues the real costs of non-organics far outweigh their organic counterparts. Check out Food Inc. a great movie that talks about some of these hidden costs, if you are interested in this question.

One of the many small differences between Taiwan and Chinese vocabulary. Both are generally understood.

他們討論的時候,提到“壞” 這鍾說法。我認為小孩子們會說這句話。在台灣叫英文的時候,我五,六歲的學生都會用這樣的詞彙。

I have heard a lot about the farmer who "discovered" the site. While in Xi'an I saw him as well. From what my friend and guide told me, the guy who signs the books might not really be the actually farmer, just someone playing the part. Gotta love China!

In the expansion section I saw the phrase 上海。 Is there a specific reason for using 就 here and not 只?

Thanks!
