August 29, 2010 at 4:06 PMI didn't know about the practice setting in audio files. I will be sure to check them out. I just added all of my CPod vocab into Anki and I'm looking forward to using adding that program to my Chinese study regime.

August 28, 2010 at 7:10 PMI think it is 了(1) cause 了(2) always falls at the end of a sentence, and this appears after the verb. However, I am curious why it is being used as well.

August 28, 2010 at 5:00 PMNo doubt about that, but you can always stick around for a while longer at your local Chinese restaurant and make a bit of conversation before heading out. I have found that in these types of situations people are more than willing to speak a little 普通话 with their customers (and very impressed as well).

Thanks for letting me know. I have had the Una-don a few times and it is quite a treat.
