August 27, 2011 at 4:55 PMI believe that 漫画 is generally used to refer to the cartoon drawings... specifically Japanese Manga. If you are talking about cartoon films you can say 动画, referring to animated movies or just anime for short or 卡通, a loan word also used to describe cartoons.

From what I have observed in China and Taiwan, when young people are busy working long hours, they (indirectly) spend a lot more time online chatting and making new friends. Eventually some of those people who really "click" online are going to want to meet.

August 21, 2011 at 4:56 AMI find that when I come upon some netslang I just put the word in Baidu. More often than not there is a link to a full explanation of the word and its origins. It isn't urbandictionary, but you can find the meaning quick enough. The only downside is that there is little to no english on the sites.
