Please explain why there is a 的 in this sentence?  there is no 是 so it wouldnt be part of the   是。。。的 pattern..

1)上手很快的。  = I got the hang of it right away

In my dictionaries shangshou means to begin (amongst otehr definitions...) nowhere does it mention to get the hang of...is this shanghai hua or standard mandarin?

2) 哎，刚才不应该说它坏话的。

why is there a 的 at the end of this sentence?

could you say 刚才不应该说它的坏话。

are these the same?

Hi I have 2 questions from this dialogue...

1)我好让其他部门开始相关的工作。 
       That way I can have the other departments get started on their parts.

Why does he say 好让? couldnt he just say 然后我可以让其他部门怎么怎么做。。. please explain...

2)下次有升职的机会，公司会先考虑你的。
       Xiao Shi, do a good job. Next time there's an opportunity for a promotion, the company will consider you first.

Why does he say 考虑你的。..why is there a 的? couldnt he just say 考虑你?
