I still think it's not that reliable. It's fine to say that the MBA is a new thing, and it should develop quickly. But the quality of education in domestic MBA programs is just very uneven. Every university is competing to be first to offer MBA classes, but they don't have enough teachers or an academic foundation. The students taking the MBA entrance exams are all just getting on the band wagon. They just don't have the necessary qualities or background. MBA education was originally to offer advanced management training to people who already had a certain amount of work experience. So one of the conditions of application was three to five years of work experience. But now, in China, people are using their MBA qualifications as a launch pad when they go job-hunting. I think that runs counter to the MBA's original intention.
