我也看过那本书，依我看，因为他没有提供具体的证明，就是趣闻根据的，所以他理论被历史学家视为传说。
有趣的是，假如郑和那时候确实循环地球比葡萄牙和西班牙的冒险家早，那么奇怪的是为什么中国每进行多了解新发现的土地？为什么明朝皇帝没派人去创建贸易，反而据说明朝那时的领袖却把郑和所取得的资料命令官员给烧焦了？为什么全世界各个有历史记载的社会却没有下记录？郑和循环地球却没去欧洲？
美州面积和天然资源多么的丰富，明朝政府却没下意图利用，反而后来许多中国人为了发财搬到旧金山挖黄金。可能郑和接触的社会和人民缺乏文明。
然而，如果作家的理论可能性真有的话，历史界绝对要忙着反思。

我去给你下碗面条。 i think means "i'll go and get you a bowl of noodles" 下 in this context means do, as in 下手 but different to 动手。
真他妈。 litereally means, really his mum. but a more accurate translation would be something like, for fuck sake. in the dialogue though, its an adverb, fucking or fucked up.
连口热水都没有。in the dialogue is a whinging statement about nothing being done at home, as if it should.
please excuse the language.

hey gesa, didn't know you'd be in hk around the same time! wasn't there for the celebrations. the hk history museum's 60th anniversay display was interesting i thought.
