XP: Try changing the file extention to mp3 (simply edit the htm to mp3) and under file type choose "all files".

Rich, Thanks. I'm using NPCR also. I like the overlap. I sense a 京剧 / 越剧lesson on the horizon (ch 22) Also, I second caulkin's statement above. Ken and Jenny pack a lot of useful info into a very concise casual sounding discussion.

Howard, You're acting like a Red Sox Fan. There's actually some very useful lanuguage in this one. I found people in China wanted to know the sports the I play or played.

auntie68, Can't say I can drink beer with ice. I believe I must have drank it at whatever temp it was served. I can't speak for Ken, but day 3 Hail Mary's and your good with the Guinness folks.

Auntie a: That's the stuff on the link la. I worked near Tiong Bahru in the Tan Boon Liat Building. We'd go over to the market a few times a week. Of course I like Hokkien mee fried and dry. Give me a big bottle of Tiger and some chwee kway and I'm good. I'm lucky I got to experience the real deal in Singapore.

Auntie68, Just got to this lesson. Thanks for the Singapore info. I lived there in 1995-96. It never ceased to amaze me the amount of languages and dialects most Singaporeans command. I miss my Hokkien Mee!! Also there was a dish like a steamed rice gelatin scooped out of small metal cups served on wax paper with red crushed chili sauce. I used to get it a Tiong Bahru Hawker Center. Do you have the name of the dish? Thanks and regards, Bill M.
