Personally, I've tried to follow the same path that I used to learn English (my 1st and only real language).
I think I was around 12 when I started to express complex ideas.
At this rate I will have an original idea in Chinese in about 6 years.
Everybody learns in their own way. I needed to read quite a bit and use the dictionary to master English. I assume it's going to be the same way with Chinese.

Can we use 师傅 inn this case as well?

I was surpirsed to hear the 你！response at the end. To me this was a real show of anger.
老王 must be plotting some sort of revenge.

I also learned not to say:
我有大肚子。(even though I have a little beer gut).
It is also slang for "I am pregnant".

There could be a side bar, where the underlings question amonst themselves. Lao Wang would express doubt to the underlings but say, we must follow orders..."maybe the new way is the best way...maybe I'm old and in the way."
Lao Wang steps back as Zhou Jun rides over the cliff. Lao Wang will be left to say, "I told you so".
Good buy Mr. Bill (Mr. Bir/Mr. Biao)...."oh nooo!"

November 20, 2008 at 2:03 AM老王 is doing his own graphs in Excel and dropping them to PPT for his presentation...oh heavens. Productivity in the Office is about to grind to a halt as everyone is spending time doing presentations and reports for corporate....unfortunately I'm familiar with the syndrome.
