Speaking of 法裔, I've got a question about 英裔. From a chinese perspective, what is exactly the definition of 英裔美国人 ? Is it White Anglo-Saxon Protestant ? Is it White Anglo-Saxon ? Is it english speaking white caucasian ?

Henning, Toque and Tuque are two different things. Tuque is the name of the "bonnet" in french canada. Toque is a french word for an hat with a narrow brim or no brim at all. The typical example is the toque of the chef in the kitchen of the restaurant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toque_%28French%29

Thanks Amber, With the wine connotation, 薪酬 and 报酬 sound like great rewards. 薪水 only has water. :)

What's the exact difference between 薪酬 and 薪水 ? Is 薪酬 used only for senior and high ranking executives and 薪水 for the other employee ?

I agree with Henning here. This problem of nudity-fear comes from North American culture or Islamic tradition. Except for "extreme exposition", I don't think it's a problem in Europe or in most of the world. AuntySue, "Only lesbians would shower in view of each other, and then only if they were partners" :D I don't want to comment too much that point of view but just let you know it's hilarious.
