Please find my attempt to say what you are trying to mean.

我能听着刮风,这刮风比下雨声音一样.

我能听着刮风. wǒnéngtīngzheguàfēng

I can here the wind blowing

这刮风比下雨声音一样 zhèguàfēngbǐxiàyǔshēngyīnyíyàng

That blowing wind compared to rain has the same sound.

HEY Fellow CPoddies们 do you have other suggestions for bodawei? Describing the sound of wind which sounds the same as rain.

If on the street in China and you approach a newspaper stand and wondered what the news paper salesperson was shouting out loudly?

During the morning you may hear the newpaper seller shout out

早报!早报!zǎobào zǎobào! It means the morning paper is on sale ready to read! (the zǎobào is repeated twice for "sales" effect)

 早报!zǎobào Morning Edition Newspaper

If you have the chance to be in a similar area of newspaper sales during the evening in China, you may hear shouted out;

晚报!晚报!wǎnbào! wǎnbào! This means the evening edition of the newspaper is ready for sale, ready to read! (the wǎnbào is repeated twice for "sales" effect)

 晚报!wǎnbào! Evening Edition Newspaper

@luolina27

How can I ask, at what time departs?

几点__?

几点走? ji3 dian3 zou3 what time to we go / depart?

火车几点走?huo3che1 ji3 dian3 zou3? What time does the train depart?

@crazzie4christ

几点 开始? ji3dian3 kai1shi2 What time does it start? I would use this sentence best for performances, movies or meeting. Related to chucks of time some event may start or finish.

我们的开会几点开始? wo3men2de5kai1hui4ji3dian3kai1shi2?

At what time does out meeting start?

@ kdombros

"Depends how much you want to express your 'pingwei' (don't know the characters for that... means something like 'taste' right?/) "

品味pin(3)wei(4) taste or quality

产品的“品”口味的“味”

产品 chan3pin3 product  口味 kou3wei4 taste (use in cooking)

you can say 好品味 hao3pin3wei4good taste

you can also say 品味低了 pin3wei4di1le5 low class or low social taste.

我第一次去北京宜家我选了自己装家具,但是那么麻烦了。我应该选工人装服务。不是宜家的关系,这时我本事幼稚了。就给我老婆好好的印象。我自己装了六个小时以上,太笨喽!

svik,

Both are important factors. ie "eaters" and the "things eaten" Consuming food and people eating together is a huge part of Chinese culture.

Find the context of the dialogue is always best to keep you on track for successful inference to deeper meanings to what the speaker is saying.

Your drive for analysis is great.

All the best.

svik,

苹果蜂蜜一起

Does this mean (我们)一起吧。

Or does it refer to the apples and honey? If not, how does one emphasize that the apples and honey are eaten together?

Because this lady is already speaking to the man regarding the fact that she brought along with her apples and honey. This line of the dialogue, the lady is referring that they share this dish together.

So yes, this part "一起吃吧" means “我们一起吃吧”

苹果沾着蜂蜜吃?Describes how the apple and honey are eaten together. It means, the apple is lathered with the honey and then eaten. Yes, this a question so in total context it is like saying, "The apple is covered with the apple then eaten...right?" but the.."right" component has been shorten. This type of question has an element of surprise and needing to believe how the apple and honey is eaten together.

One possible way of saying this in Chinese with the inflection of the "is the right" feeling is, "苹果沾着蜂蜜吃了。。。对吗?”
