@Matt I would try it as 预防时差反应的方法 yùfáng shíchāfǎnyìngde fàngfǎ jetlag prevention methods Similar used in 预防疾病 yùfáng jíbìng to prevent sickness @gjeo The meaning of combat in the context of "combatting jet-lag" is the meaning of contend against, or be opposed to the idea of, not meaning to physically fight the jet-lag. The word "combatting" is used alot in News Presentations in Australia. Cheers.

another usual use of 堂 with lessons is used to describe a classroom 课堂 ke4tang2

A large amount of Chinese is written language.
Spoken Chinese is great for communication, finding a resturant, ordering your food and find your way around a Chinese city.
To really understand Chinese you need to spend time writing Characters and then be able to differientiate these Characters that may have similar sounds and tones. eg 中 zhōng 钟zhōng which zhong do you use and when?
The answer is to learn the characters, and the best way is to get into it, put a pen, pencil or 墨笔 mòbǐ (calligraphy pen) into your hand and write......make mistakes when you practice, everybody does, and learn and learn the characters so you can get the right Chinese character when you need to use it either in your Chinese writing or Chinese verbal communication.
Sometimes you need to let the keyboard go.

In my exerience in Mainland China regarding health care that in the Major Cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen that Chinese hospitals do a great job for the amount of population of people that may and most likely pass through the doors of the hospitals in Mainland China.
The number of beds in one room in Chinese hospitals can vary as the treatment of certain conditions vary. Eg if after seeing a doctor and the doctor prescribes medicine in a drip system into the patient's hand vein, then the patient is required to go to the nursing station were in excessive of 200 sitting positions and 100 bed are available, this is spread out on one floor of the hospital. A team of 30 to 35 nurses would be stationed at a nurse station of this size.
Nursing and Doctoring is performed by the Nurses and Doctors respectively. Relatives are allowed to visit patient's during visiting hours, which are normal visiting hours during the day time. The hospitals allow gifts of flowers and the like into the patient's room.
Coverage of health insurance does depend on what is done at the time of the patient's appointment at the hospital. Their is a national health care system by which certain things are covered. They are already systems in place that certain international insurance health policies [providers recognise a number of health care facilities in those large cities I have just mentioned.
In most hospitals their are fixed visiting hours for inpatient visits. Most large hospitals in these major cities do have a 24 hour emergency section. Therefore as in other countries, this department deals with emergent medicine very effectively and very efficiently.
I myself as an Expatriate living in Beijing had internal inpatient non-elective surgery and found that the Mainland Chinese hospital system is very efficient and the Doctor's and Nurses highly skilled and very professional.
Thanks to my Wife (who is Chinese) and Chinesepod I found myself waking up from the General Anesthetic speaking fluent Mandarin Chinese.

Chinese is full of these!
It's a bit tricky, however, to translate these into English. Especially if you want to retain both the humor and the double-meaning. Any takers on another (maybe funnier) translation?
It needs the sense of sight to make it really funny but I will give a go......Here goes!!!
