April 5, 2009 at 11:57 PMbababardwan well done mate!
(This little piggy went to market)
(This little piggy stayed home)
(This little piggy ate roast beef)
(This little piggy had none)
(This little piggy cried "Wee Wee Wee" all the way home)
Dear Chinese Friends, This looks like a poem but is actually a nursery rhyme. My mother also sang this nursery rhyme for me when I was little. Parents consider the toes as "Little Pigs". This idea gives their baby much enjoyment. When the parent sings the nursery rhyme the parent also tickles and pulls on the baby's toes. Babys for sure are so very happy!

April 3, 2009 at 1:12 PMGreat Way To Learn. A touch of Pop and Pulp "Fiction" of course! Great work C Pod.
A ring leader named "Dragon Brother" and his henchman "Big Bear" - stunning!
Easiest way to learn Chinese. Did well for me.
Deep down, everbody likes a good story.
As learning language allows you to understand other cultures. Then why not expose yourself to the possibilities of life in another language.
Good to see a well written and well acted "spoken fiction" still has shock-value.

March 21, 2009 at 2:41 AMAnatomically I always thought of "your hump" as your back and spine. A borrowed idea from the camel's hump.
So "Busting my hump" is bit like "back-breaking work"

March 13, 2009 at 9:14 AMThe new format for recapping new phrases or words with extra examples away from the dialogue is a great idea.
Helps me consolidation the lesson content.
Keep the good work going. Keep them clear and direct. Very stimulating.

March 11, 2009 at 3:15 PMkimiik,
Interesting point you have picked up on. During major Mainland Chinese celebrations eg CCTV's Gala night for the Chinese New Year Eve, the different Chinese ethnic groups are always celebrated as part of the vast amount of faces and cultures that actually do make up China. Cultural Dress, Dancing and songs are shown regularly.
