If you want to say $2,005, it is 两千零五.  The other example is $20,005.  It is 两万零五. :)

这是一个非常好的问题!

“刚才”是一个时间词,用法跟“昨天”、“早上”一样。

"才"、“刚”都是副词(adverb),是两个词,你看到“才”在副词前面,都是emphatic。

a. 我才刚喂完奶。

b. 我刚喂完奶。

a.跟b.意思一样,可是a.听起来有更强的感觉,因为”才“让”刚“的意思变得很清楚、很重要。

"明白得不清楚" --> "不太清楚“ or "不太明白" :)

"A不如B" means "A没有B好”.

Therefore, when we use "A...,不如 B...", we think "B" is a better choice.

When we use "A...,不然 B...", we think that "A" is not an option, just do "B".

the more I learn... 我猜,你想说 ”我学得越多,中文就进步越多“ 或是 ”我学得越多,中文就进步越快“。这是你要说的意思吗? :)

我也是,我也觉得弄cosplay的道具、衣服很花时间,不过看他们的照片真的很有意思。

以前我认识很多玩cosplay的朋友,他们不只参加动漫展,还会另外花时间,到风景漂亮的地方拍照呢,非常认真!:D

Thank you for bringing that up. I didn’t realise that I switched between the two pronunciations. In my mind it is “bo1”.  There are several words in Chinese where the pronunciation vary from the pinyin, depending on the combination of characters. As the sometime the combinations make plosive “p” sounds role off more naturally, and in other times the “b".

For example, when I say 大波 I naturally pronounce it “da4 po1” yet when I say 波濤 I say “bo1 tao1”.

I also doubled checked on several official dictionaries and the official pronunciation is definitely  “bo1”. However, I did find some dictionaries which included both “po1” and “bo1” as many people still use both in and out of China.
