Hi, this is an interesting question. In Chinese 量词 is associated with the certain thing. 艘 is for ships and/or boats, so we do not use it for people to add emphasis. However, you may say "这个人胖得像个球", or ”他壮得像一座山". As for your example, we might say "这七个像水牛一样的大胖子吃掉了全市的蛋糕".

This is a great question! 论及婚嫁 is almost like a set idiom in Chinese, which means we don't change a word when we use it. The word 论 can describe a situation when people talk about things theoretically. 所以不一定表示“说”这个动作。如果一对男女只是想到结婚的可能，就可以说“我们正在考虑结婚(的事)”.

Although they both mean 'certainly' or 'definitely', 肯定 is more certain than 一定. The difference between 肯定 and 一定 is that 肯定 can use as a adjective. You can say '我很肯定他會來'. Besides, 肯定 can also means 'to agree' or 'to approve'. For example, '他工作認真，大家都肯定他'.
