July 20, 2015 at 6:31 AM“麦" is a rare family name in China. It seems like there is no fixed way to introduce it.
My suggestion is “大麦的麦” or “麦田的麦”. If people really don't get you, you could try “麦当劳的麦" but this means McDonalds, so you might want to use this only in certain situations :)

July 8, 2015 at 9:35 AMBasically, we use 动量词 to count how many times the action has been done. ‘一会儿' only means 'a short time', we don't use it to count an action. Here are some examples:
我打了他三下。 wǒ dǎ le tā sān xià. --> this sentence means I repeat the action 'hit' three times.
他敲门敲了好几下。 tā qiāo mén qiāole hǎo jǐ xià. --> this sentence means he repeat the action 'knock' many times.
Since we don't usually repeat the action '等‘, '等一下‘ just means to wait a short time. However, when a native speaker want to make fun of people, he/she might say ‘我等了好几下，你都没来，我不等了’.

她家离学校很近，走路只要五分钟。Tā jiā lí xuéxiào hěn jìn, zǒulù zhǐyào wǔ fēnzhōng.
Adding ‘只’ to emphasize how short the distance is.

However, if you want to express the sense of 'just enough', you could say "这样就够了” or “够了，这样刚好”.

May 29, 2015 at 10:05 AM浑水摸鱼本来的意思是”趁机(or 趁乱)得到好处"，引申的用法就是“趁别人不注意偷懒休息”。
当大家都很忙的时候，只有某个人偷懒休息，却没有被老板发现，就等于这个人得到了好处，也算是‘骗’了老板。
所以后来普遍地用来在骂人偷懒，比方说，“平常你浑水摸鱼就算了，连大老板来你也这样，实在是太夸张了。”

Try “平安的安” instead of "安全的安“. ”平安“ sounds lucky. :)
