I think we're like a clay Buddha crossing a river: hard-pressed to save even ourselves. Look at how the stock market fell from six thousand points to just over a thousand. Everyone says that the stock market is the barometer of a national economy. The Chinese economy is fundamentally alright, but how can the stock market be doing so poorly? All my hard-earned money has been wasted! Agh, I can't even eat!

所谓雄伟和秀美，所谓外向和内向，所谓戏剧型的和图画型的，所谓戴奥尼苏斯艺术和阿波罗艺术，所谓“金刚怒目，菩萨低眉”，所谓“静如处女，动如脱兔”，姚姬传所谓的阳刚和阴柔，都无非是这两种气质的注脚。

Majesty and grace, extroversion and introversion, theater and painting, Dionysusian art and Apollonian art, the fierce stare of an attendant of the Buddha and the lowered gaze of the Bodhisattva, or the coyness of the maid and the rapidity of the rabbit from 'The Nine Situations' in Sunzi's Art of War, and Yao Nai's concept of masculine and feminine, are all but footnotes to these two aspects.

What about it? You think that if you keep mentioning them then they'll come for you. So why don't you call out for Jesus, Buddha or Bodhisattva to protect you?

ài ，wǒ zuìjìn a ，zhēnshì zhūshì bù shùn 。wǒ mā shuō xiàcì yào dài wǒ qù Lóngwáng Púsà nàr qiú ge qiān ，bài ge fó ，hǎo qùqu huìqì 。

Ai-yi-yi, nothing has been going right for me lately. My mom said she's going to take me to Long Wang temple to pray that my bad luck goes away.

没错。这也是藏传佛教的一个特点，它相信菩萨在人间有一个肉身，而这个肉身就是活佛，当然就是最至高无上的人物。而活佛圆寂后会转世，他的弟子便会通过一系列的方法去寻找、认定转世的灵童。现在，大概有上万个活佛吧。
