I don't think that has to be the case. Bitcoin is like a mystery. We don't even know who the heck its inventor “Satochi Nakamoto” actually is. He invented it and has just laid low. I think that it's something for geeks and enthusiasts to play with. Average people like us investing in this thing would worry about losing everything and not knowing who to turn to.
