We can use this proverb ‘Men are afraid of being famous, just as pigs are afraid of getting fat.’ to describe celebrities. There are some celebrities in China who like to drive luxurious cars, wear fancy watches, or live in luxurious houses. These behaviors are called ‘flaunting one’s wealth’.

Although living at home is not as comfortable as living outside, and the food is not as fancy as the food outside, either, I’m more used to living at home. Home brings me familiar feeling and security. So, east or west, home is the best.

yòu xiǎngyào dà fángzi ，yòu xiǎngyào fùjìn de jiāotōng fāngbiàn 。yúyǔxióngzhǎngbùkějiāndé ，zhǐnéng xuǎnzé yī ge 。suǒyǐ xiǎng zhù dà fángzi ，jiù děi zhù jiāoqū 。zhù xiǎo fángzi ，jiù kěyǐ zhù zài shìqū ，dànshì jiù bǐjiào guì 。

You want a big house and also convenient transportation. You cannot have it both ways. You can only choose one. So if you want a big house, you have to live in the suburbs. If you choose a small one, you can live downtown, but it’s more expensive.
