According to Li Chengwen, President Xi Jinping shared six aspects for both China and Africa to work towards building a “community of shared future” : responsibility sharing, cooperation and win-win, happiness sharing, cultural co-prosperity, security and harmonious symbiosis.

The nursing home in Hangzhou had achieved mutual benefit and win-win for the old folks and themselves by addressing integration and optimisation of existing resources. They had explored meaningful solutions to improve the old age services industry not just in nursing care but spiritual needs of the elderly. Their work is worthy of praise.

Generation after generation of Silk Road travellers built a link of cooperation between East and West, a bridge of peace.

For peace, we have to securely establish an awareness of a community of destiny among humanity. Prejudice and discrimination, hostility and war, they only bring disaster and pain. Mutual respect, treating one another as equals, peaceful development, prospering together, this is the true path for humanity. Each country in the world should uphold the objectives and principles enshrined in the United Nations charter as the core tenets of international order and the international system, to proactively construct new international relations with win-win cooperation at its core, to continue to carry forward the sublime undertaking that is world peace and development.

In the face of the invaders, the sons and daughters of China were unyielding in a bloodsoaked and hard-fought battle, completely defeating the militaristic Japanese invaders, defending the civilization that was the result of over five thousand years of development of the Chinese people, defending the cause of human peace, casting in memory a wonder in military history and the heroic feats of the Chinese people.

Only with a tiger in one's heart can one bring about a solemn and tragic heroic undertaking; only with an idealistic heart brimming with uprightness and justness can one accomplish what Meng Jiao referred to with the lines "Even a broken mirror doesn't lose its sheen; even when an orchid withers, it doesn't lose its fragrance".
