Superficial explanation and deeper philosophical significance. I notice you are very thorough in listening the tones, the prepositions. Very analytical in pronunciation and grammar. That is always great linguistic gift, however, I suggest you write some Chinese occasionally i.e. ask your instructor questions in Chinese, feel free to speak Chinese, any chance you have to get the feeling of 'buy 1 get 3' sort of 中文用法秘訣。 敞門造不了車。你的努力，一定前途無量！

That is the reason why I know 繁體字，and also able to figure out 簡體字by context, not as fast as born mainlanders. Ha, ha...I know 勹攵冖匚fluently, therefore I have studied Beijing pinyin on my own based on the international phonatic principals. (Reference: 中國語言学家林語堂，周有光⋯）Back to the light subject, I happen to be the 1st winner in the spring golf tournament in my community, A flight, lady golf league of 60 members, sorry to brag a bit. Which part of planet are you on, brother?

April 6, 2014 at 9:42 PMOk you all, take a break from studying Chinese. I will tell you one of the most thrilling golf game I just watched. NBC televised the PGA tournament, after 4 days, two Australian players had to play off, they both have the same first name, Matt, one is Kutcher; the other, Jones. Kutcher had been leading the competition for 4 days, only last tee-off went into water, thus, 2 Matts tied to go into play-off, Jones chipped in, a very hard one, he did sink in and won the game! Jones has been in the Professional Golf Association tournament 7 times, this is the very first big winning, $ one million +.
It is good to see a new face, especially Matt Jones carried himself quiet well. Very encouraging to other young players. Kutcher, as always, is courteous and pleasant. Watch out those Aussies, they are great sportsmen. 髙爾夫球是能誏人著迷的，不過也有人不情願追著那小白球，認為太浪費時間，縂之，you either love it or hate it, nothing in between, that is golf.

In my Chinese household, my mother and father say shi, I.e. Shi de, 我想去看电影，to be agreeable; we children say si, the reason is simply regional, my parents are from the north, Beijing (my mom), Sandong. My siblings and I were born in southern china. So, really not a big deal. People do not classify you as proper or otherwise because this adv more importantly is what you say after 是／不是 to support that interjection positively or negatively.
N and ng are easier to explained in a character, i.e. 年 nian the ending n is
