May 2, 2007 at 4:42 AMGreat lesson. Lots of useful expressions. Need some explanation on this one: 不提也罢 In the context, does it mean "Don't raise the issue" ? 谢谢!

April 25, 2007 at 2:56 AMExcellent lesson. Thanks. But I have trouble loading the Dialogue, Vocab and Expansion pages. Seems to be errors on the page: Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0 Any way to fix this ?

April 22, 2007 at 3:19 PMJust a technical question...the last few Elementary lessons seem to have missing dialogue or no pinyin in the caption of the media player. For example, this lesson has no captions at all. Not a big deal, since I can download the PDF. Anyone else have this problem ?

April 21, 2007 at 2:31 AMI first learned about "250" in my beginners Chinese class. The teacher didn't exactly explain the origin, but indicated that it represented a person who is "a few bricks short of a load" or a half-wit. It's quite an insult, so Chinese people go out of there way to avoid using it, even when counting numbers or paying money etc.

June 13, 2007 at 1:06 AMWhatever became of the "other woman" (Fei Fei)? You know the one that was the root cause of the break-up. Some loose ends in the plot here, i think.
