我觉得前有两个意思,比如,”前三国家“在这儿意思是"front" 和 “前男朋友“在这儿意思是 "previous"...是语境依赖性吗?

dengdeng, yeah, like any other city, there are some nice residential areas, and at least Detroit no longer is the "murder capital" of the U.S., I think Washington D.C. has that honor now...

I have run in the Detroit Marathon. The race organizers advertised it as "scenic". It sure was a sight for sore eyes, burned-out buildings and bullets whizzing by your head. Good thing that I can run fast. :)

I really enjoy this series ! Thanks Jenny and John. I wish I could participate in the challenge, but I just don't have time to learn how to photoshop. Should be interesting to see how much qin1re4 content will be allowed. :)

Interesting point that baseball terminology is used metaphorically in English but not in Chinese. So, what Chinese metaphors are used for relationships ? eg: " I got to first base with my date last night "

那么无论和不管有什么区别 ? Can "bu4 guan3" and "wu2lun4" be used interchangeably ?
