看日本动漫的时候常常看到这个妖怪的形象,我记得《犬夜叉》里面就有这个妖怪。你知道这个漫画吗?

In Chinese, the adverbial phrase is often placed before the main verb. It's different from the order in English.

November 9, 2009 at 6:09 AMHi pretzellogic,
"qilai" after the verb indicate that the motion of the verb is started and will continue or repeat for a period of time. For example, "xiào qǐlái", means start laughing.
But the motion of hailing a taxi "dǎ chūzūchē" , seems could not last for a period of time, so "chūzūchē zhēn nán dǎ" is better than "chūzūche dǎ qílái zhēn nán".

November 6, 2009 at 2:54 AMHi stevegeerligs,
If you want to buy some green tea, you can say
我要买点绿茶。wǒ yào mǎi diǎn lǜ chá.
买(mǎi) is the 3rd tone, means buy, 卖(mài)is the 4th tone, means sell.
