I don't eat steak very often, but for years I struggled with the issue of describing how I want it cooked for years. I just didn't ask. I relied on someone else to do it. It's funny that we can allow something like this to to happen: I was probably eating steak a couple of times per year - that is in situations where I could have learned the proper terminology, but it took me years before I actually sat down and went through it in detail. Maybe it's becasue the only time I eat steak is probably with my wife and she is more likely to do the ordering in a restaurant. From the recording perspective, however, I find these situations make the lesson more rewarding for me personally. Maybe if you've struggled to learn something I might be able to pass on some useful advice or insight to other learners.

Dave, The logo is definitely a person, but beyond that it's whatever you want it to be. It's like, er... art!

I think there's a difference between usage and rules. "You are taller than him" is a fairly likely possibility in English. It contravenes a rule that most native speakers neither know nor understand.

I want to try to develop flashcards with phrases and pictures. This could be used to do all sorts of new things. We're on the case. Ken
