Nothing against lame limericks. But MM was better. What is "lame limerick" in Chinese?

你缺少怎么样的结构? 我却满足了, 学到很多实用的生词。 再说pituitaryadenoma的贴值得看。 具体地说, 他的那些中文贴。。。 Apart from this, I think that dialogue is very realistic. I did this kind of shopping myself two or three times - no big deal if we are talking about minor symptoms like the ones in the lesson. Fortunately the pharmacist is very well trained to sell medicine that fosters symptoms alleviation. Which I need sometimes to keep on functioning both in the work and the family environment. No need to bother a doctor. Another point that I think is interesting: I tend to get ill preferably when the whether changes. Maybe not caused directly by the whether change, but indirectly either because my immune system is weakened or because the germs are strenghtened for attack.... A medicine layman.

我还以为"合"的发音就是第二声, 不过用在 天人合一 里面却是第一声。 在我的辞典里并没有这个发音 - "合"到底是个多音词吗? 第一声的"合"有什么意思?

changye, thanks, that cleared it up for me (maybe the Kölsch helped; will now have a round of Weizen and a show of Battlestar Galactica to finish this first real spring evening...)

mganz, goulnik transcribed the banter of quite a few lessons about a year ago. You find them here: http://goulnik.com/Chinese/chinesepod/full.php Maybe that supports your practice.

请问, "过关"和"到位"有什么区别? 能不能将它们互换?

That was indeed a great show. Kudos to Rob for sticking to his perfectly crazy endevour. 加油! And I am totally dumbstruck by the courage and energy of Marija - alone as a woman with 5000 Euros traveling around the world by bike? I bet Marija will have some bedtime stories to tell for her grand- and great-grand-children.

@changye & goulnik: the lesson brought you another one for your 七八collection: 七大姑八大姨 Goulnik, you obviously need to refine your detection method. This one does not follow your regular expression but rather adheres to a template of the sort 七??八??.
