June 4, 2007 at 8:31 AMuser25819, when it comes to dealing with psychological issues China still has a lot to learn. I usually do not like to use this type of sentence because it usually indicates double-standard, imperialism, cultural bias etc. and is usually not appropriate. Besides we can learn a lot from China. But with regard to psychology there just isn't any other way of putting this: China still *has* a lot to learn.

June 1, 2007 at 7:48 AMAnd in Exercise 3 I got 8 vocab items that needs to distributed over 9 sentences. Sentence 7 has no omitted space. In consequense I can only score 8/9. :(

June 11, 2007 at 6:04 AMThe following Expansion sentence rised a more general question for me: 她总是把错误赖在弟弟身上。 What do I need the 身上 for? I have seen it quite often recently, but am not really certain what its function is. Is it an obligatory part of the sentence or rather superfluous decoration? Couldn't it be just: 她总是把错误赖在弟弟。 ?
