在美国曝出知名高校招生舞弊案后，英国传出入学材料作假情况。英国《泰晤士报》17日报道，去年有4500多人涉嫌申请入学时抄袭别人的个人陈述。欧美国家高校通常要求申请人撰写个人陈述，阐述自己取得的成绩、申请动机等内容。英国高等院校招生委员会用一款名为copycatch的防学术欺诈软件查到，去年有4559人的个人陈述文件内容可疑。
