I see, "taking negative comments seriously" is the reason for the constant zig zag course in the lessons ... However, meanwhile we have less lessons for the same money. Not such a real improvement ... 

My patience is limited and the only reason why I still haven't left CP (after many years) is because of the fantastic database, sorry.

What is the aim? While seriously learning Chinese characters, which is pretty much complicated for learners anyway, at the start I'm not interested (and it's senceless from the didactical point of view!) in seeing any confusing differences between simplied and traditional characters, which I develop anyway after a while when dealing with this subject. The aim should be to develop reading skills for the most popular and most used Chinese characters! Regarding the fact that you need to know around 5000 Chinese (!!! 100+ do not help you a lot) characters in order to be able to read a standard newspaper or magazine it's more a less a waste of time (in case you are not an experiences learner with high reading abilities of simplified characters and want to go to Taiwan or Guandong now) to learn the traditional characters - 66 characters is a game anyway and I'm not here for playing!

We also learn Madarin and not e.g. Cantonese, don't we?

For those who want to learn traditional characters why don't you simply put it the other way round: additional information in the tabs and in the video the simplified characters?

P.S.: Think about the reason why traditional characters had been changed in to simplified ones ...

The lessons are (always) so real ... it's exactly what I noticed when I was at a prestigious school in Shanghai three weeks ago (e.g. 2 million Euro - not yuan - for an appartment with 153 sq m). The poor teachers can't afford to live near by, unlike they've bought the appartment many years ago...
