There's no traditional Chinese lookup yet, along with no non-tonal pinyin. Vocabulary from the lessons are not (yet) being put into the dictionary automatically: John and I will be sitting down to nail that out later today. All of the entries/edits from the weekend have been updated though. My favorite contribution was the Higgs Boson particle: 希格斯玻色子. Lots of great television shows and film names, which have been tagged as such too. I take it that's you Bazza?

I love the Harry Potter stuff. Any pop culture references are kind of cool. Not to drop any hints, but it's always a good idea to submit first and last names separately too. Although I guess it makes them less searcheable... for now. We use numeric pinyin in the backend because you can always convert from numeric->tonal but not the other way in a few cases.

@Man2toe - the current backend doesn't support 注音符號 so I can't see it happening in the near term, but that's no reason we can't look at it for a bit further down the road. @Tai-pan - I'll let Amber deal with the research on that one.

UPDATE: we just got through the last day's worth of updates (there were about 50 submissions/edits, Henning). So the new changes are live now. New entries for a bunch of words ranging from BSE to "The Departed". I suspect we have Henning to thank for Vogon. ;)

@aeflow - its possible there are occasional errors with duoyinci, which will be fixed as caught. We're using this system ourselves for lesson creation and are making revisions on an ongoing basis. Thanks for the tip.
