December 5, 2007 at 10:02 PM@rrandy, Don't be so selfish, think of Chinesepod managers, not just about you ! Looking how to improve their service, they crave for feedback. By the way, mine was a request, not a complain.

December 4, 2007 at 10:57 AMOnce again, I'd like to listen to more words or expressions in Chinese, like today 对象. Don't need to be more than 5 or 6. We are all Chinese learners here, so they won't harm anybody.

December 3, 2007 at 12:17 AM@ user21238 Good mnemonic pun for 裤子 - ku4zi - trousers/pants Your mnemonic on 鞋子 - xie2zi - shoes - may be a bit far fetched :-) I have "discovered" a mnemonic for writing the right part of the character 鞋: two pieces of earth, one under each shoe, or dust on each shoe

November 29, 2007 at 1:36 AMFor flash cards I recommend Pleco (http://www.pleco.com/) You need a Pocket Pc or a Palm It's great. No time to explain why. Just try it. Important notice on www.pleco.com: "The iPhone only supports web-based software (Google Maps etc), so there won't be a version of Pleco for iPhone anytime soon. Sorry!" So I'll stick with my HP Ipaq.

November 25, 2007 at 11:33 PMIt would be good that Chinesepod test their new version internally, correct as many bugs as possible, then release it.

December 6, 2007 at 4:01 AM起 can be a measure word but none of my dictionaries defines 起 (qǐ) as a measure word. Crazy ! Learning Chinese is so fun...
