如果驴友经常大声喊叫, 听起来像驴叫声。

Two key-words are missing in this lesson :

镶牙 (xiāngyá) put in a false tooth; insert an artificial tooth; crown a tooth -> easy to remember with 象牙 (xiàngyá) ivory

除垢牙齿 (chúgòu yáchǐ) descaling teeth (teeth whitening / détartrage) -> easy to remember with 除狗 (chúgǒu) get rid of the dog (怎么去除垢?)

I've noticed that a sea kayak (using paddle) is called 小船 when it's not moving on the beach and 小艇 on the water. I can see the logic here but it's difficult to get used to it.

Speaking of snake, there's also the interesting character 虹.

虹 makes the words 天虹, 彩虹 (彩虹之国 Rainbow Nation), 虹形 (maybe similar to 弓形 and 券形 http://www.sinosplice.com/life/archives/2006/11/30/wrong-gong).

The ancient oracle character was clearly a bowed snake 虫 with two heads and it looks like an arch.

I think that 见过 could also be interpreted as "have seen". 见面 has a wide range of meanings.

看到一个人的时候, 你能从远处见面他。见面他以后, 你见过他。

Also, I suppose that "to cross someone in a hallway" and "to meet someone in a hallway" could be similar in english.
