这个题目很有意思。我第一次听到“天狗食日”觉得很奇怪, 但是你解说以后我懂了。

Thanks. Useful. For inside is either 这里用 还是 在这里 correct?

How about how to say to drink here or to take out. In Taiwan Taipei, I have a hard time ordering using my Chinese skills since the Barista's quickly inquire of me in English.

A very good lesson, although I had to work at it for awhile. I understand that is how you make progress.

In a community where weekend Yard Sales are usual, I told my wife that today the agency that authorizes these had sent an email cancelling them all. Fun!

Where are the expansion dialogue questions. This is one of the most important tools for learning language. Without this interactive feature Chinesepod would be a "talking heads" show and not a learning tool.

The expansion and review of the sentences are perhaps the most valuable part of each lesson. A great part of learning for me is to be able to write out the sentences as I hear them in the review section before checking to see if they are correct. This informs me of grammar construction that I do not get simply from reading. I wonder why a sentence is constructed as given and then figure it out. In addition, it provides practice at understanding the spoken word that is essential in learning the Chinese language.

Love the video lessons feeling that they greatly enhance learning. Apparently to gain space and work time have left out the Review (and hopefully not the Grammar) section. Although I never did turn in homework or give feedback about the Review, I read, appreciated, and tried to answer them to myself. Perhaps you can replace this section with Questions for Thought for self-review and personal expansion. I am going to take a break for a few months going to Taiwan but will pick up again when I return and hopefully will catch up. Best until then! zàijiàn and keep up the good work.
