In the dialogue each of the sentences huì denotes WILL except for the last sentence in which it denotes a learned ability. '' A明天会下雨。WILL It will rain tomorrow. I Know, I know, I'll (I WILL) bring an umbrella. A明天你会骑自行车去吗?WILL Will you ride a bike there tomorrow? B 不会 (WILL NOT),我会打车。 Why won't you ride a bike? Because I don't know how (LEARNED ABILITY) to ride a bike.

A lesson on visiting a spouse's ageing parents in a nursing home would be useful for myself as well as others. On my most recent flight to Taiwan, I sat next to a gentleman who was doing the same. He was learning the Chinese language as well.  Also, the place that we rent when in Taipei alternates between my wife and I and another couple there for the same reason.

蛮 in the third sentence of the dialogue, according to my dictionary, is translated best as barbarian; bullying; very; quite; rough; reckless. Would the character满 work here or perhaps be better?

Writing from Internet Explorer this browser does not freeze, so seems to be that the code does not work for Chrome.

Twice the review factor has frozen my page and I need to start with a new Browser. This is on Google Chrome so perhaps other browsers do not have this problem.

Look up the publication list from Cheng-Tsui (search on Google). A particular graded series that I have read from is given at https://www.cheng-tsui.com/browse/tales-and-traditions-2e. This recommendation is for the Tales and Traditions graded series.

There are also apps on Google Play to explore for Tablets or Phones that given graded series for news, etc.

Although the pace of the dialogue is intended to provide suspense, it is also very useful for understanding at my current level of listening to the spoken language. Perhaps more lessons can be spoken at this pace as a transition lesson.

Can you clarify when to use 弄 vs 做 (nòng vs zuò). In the lesson, 弄 is translated to make, whereas 做 is translated as to do. In the past, my understanding that nòng was a generalized term for to do. So I am left with a lack of understanding of when to use each term.

In the dialogue why is there a guò le le ....? in the sentence below. The guò le is a complete action (le1), but what is the second le? If it is a change of state le2 why is it not at the end of phrase or at least after yīyuàn? A puzzle to me!
