You can never overestimate the weight of tradition and customs. One can have a degree in metaphysics and biotech, use RSS feeds and read the New York Times, but still adament about having a kid of a 'lucky' animal sign.

'On time' is 准时/zhun3 shi2. Do you want to say 'will you be in office on time'? If that's the case, you can say '你会准时到办公室吗？'/ni3 hui4 zhun3 shi2 dao4 ban4 gong1 shi4 ma?

马上就到 and 快要到 （or 快到) both mean 'arriving soon', because 马上 means 'soon', 'very shortly', 快means 'fast'. But of course how long that exactly is is open to interpretation.

The creative genius of a kid. Connie's baby brother has a particular love for drawing on unlikely surfaces. I once saw Connie using a silk fan. It had his handwriting and drawing on it wishing her happy birthday. Sweet gift.

1. 独家报道/du2 jia1 bao4 dao4/exclusive coverage

2. 独家转播/du2 jia1 zhuan3 bo1/exclusive broadcast (rights)

3. 独家销售/du2 jia1 xiao1 shou4/exclusive sales (rights)

呢 can also be used to indicate something obvious. And an ongoing action is something unambivalent and obvious. That's why your teacher made the association. Chen Lei's example demonstrates this very well. Hope this helps.
