Thanks!!!You can add "请" in these short sentences, it's much better and polite!!!!

But I think this one is much better: 有什么不了解的，来问我就好了！！(smile!!!!!) The latter is a nicer way to say that!!

September 25, 2009 at 8:29 AM@emberswift, it's regardless of good thing or bad thing when you "成全" someone! "这门", "门” is used here as a measure word.
Here is my try:
"Some students have a good grasp of the basics of Chinese, but they still can't implement their skills into the spoken language." 有些学生中文基础知识掌握得不错,但是他们不会把这些知识很好的运用在口语中。
