Have a look at this site, and chill out. 中外对话 - Chinadialogue I'd say it kills two bird with one stone, but what an ill omen. Clarence, straws in the wind make me suspect a beam in the mind. You said Chinese people use Cpod to learn Chinese, but you get so loud that your script becomes phonetic ("plane English", is there such a slang? ng...). You said in another thread that "this Chinese stuff (was) massively destroying (your) English". I'm not throwing my stone at you for that kind of funny stuff, but be careful when you do. You don't have to learn Lantian, Man2Toe's comments (though you definitely can), you can learn from their mistakes too... Ken, criticisms are constructive, but so is being pounded unconscious, in a sense :)

(haha, it sounds like a song) We used to call these "Turkish style" here (long ago), and they're still commonplace enough (my uni's got fine specimens). I suppose that so-called Chinese or Eastern style is the same.

June 13, 2007 at 7:17 PMI'm not a specialist in this field (not yet, thank God) but I think if Western style is sitting, Chinese/Eastern/Turkish style must be squatting... or I shall be better prepared. There's also that issue about 手纸, which must not be thrown down the (vocab missing), but in the garbage. That's all, and enough :)

June 13, 2007 at 10:04 AM大家好! A healthy lesson, too bad the pool is so far, it won't get me there today ;) How come the woman speaking say that 蛙泳最累? Of course after some lengths of 蝶泳 then仰泳, you tend to feel dizzy, but 蛙泳 is then a good opportunity to cool down and stretch your limbs before crawl (最暴躁的游泳). If it means that you're already tired, fine. But the faster you go, the less tiring is breaststroke. Now, I'm really storming a teacup, am I not?
