I'm not sure about this, but I think adjectives can act as completed actions too.

E.g.

黑 black, dark (adjective)

天已经黑了。 It's already dark. (completed action 了)

天要黑了。It's getting dark. (change of state 了)

天黑了。 It's dark. It's getting dark. (I guess context will tell wether this is completed action or change of state 了)

Thanks! I googled 容易感到晕船恶心 and 容易晕船， and 容易晕船 won the race by 36900 to 1. Good for me. A short sentence is easier to remember ;-)

That's true. I forgot one can say "pick up the phone". It's not possible to use the same words for those two actions in Swedish. We'd say answer the phone and fetch a person at the airport (literally translated).

I think it's interesting that the word for picking up (jie1) a person is the same as the one for answering (jie1) the phone.
