"女子无才便是德"是说一个女子没有能力没有知识就是好的品德。在古代，对于一个女子来说，好的品德就是在家相夫教子，服从丈夫的命令，不需要很有能力。如果女子很有能力，就会按照自己的想法做事，不能对家庭对丈夫绝对顺从。这是古代封建社会对女子的歧视。
