口kǒu is more commonly used in the northern China for the number of family members. In the south, people usually say "个".

In a duplicated verb, the second syllable should be neutral tone.
说说 shuō shuo
看看 kàn kan
摇摇头 yáo yao tóu
If the verb has two syllables, like "讨论tǎolùn", the duplication form is "讨论讨论" and the tones should be "tǎolun tǎolun".
考虑考虑 kǎolv kǎolv

The two "还是" have different meanings.
The first one means " or ". It's often used in an alternative question.
eg, 你要喝咖啡还是可乐？Nǐ yào hē kāfēi háishi kělè？
冷水还是热水？Lěngshuǐ háishi rèshuǐ？
The second one means " still ".
eg, 她今天还是没来。Tā jīntiān háishi méi lái.

You can say,
我家有五口人， 我、太太、 大儿子、二儿子和小儿子。
Wǒ jiā yǒu wǔ kǒu rén, wǒ, tàitai, dà érzi, èr érzi hé xiǎo érzi.
