April 30, 2013 at 6:48 PMOne more Question:
Toward the end of the lesson, Vera said that 我一个头两个大了, is a really 形象 word. 形象(xíngxiàng), meaning image.
Can we get some more example of expressions or saying that are 形象?

April 30, 2013 at 6:34 PMAnother Question:
In this lesson, Vera mentioned 搞错 (gǎocuò), when explaining something. This reminded me of a question I have.
If I want to say, "I always mix up those two girls' names", how do I say this? Is it with 搞错, or 搞混, or some other word?

April 30, 2013 at 6:27 PMQuestion:
Toward the beginning of the dialogue, there is line I have a question about.
"这些我都搞不清楚, 谁让我英语语法课都在睡觉呢“
In this sentence, could we take out the 在?
So, could we say "谁让我英语语法课都睡觉呢“ ?
To me, adding the 在 makes the sentence feel like the person is still attenting English grammar class, and is always sleeping during class.

April 30, 2013 at 5:13 PMQuestion:
Why is the character 君 (jūn) used for "friend"? My dictionaries all say that this character means "monarach, ruler, gentleman".

May 2, 2013 at 7:39 PMQuestion:
In the sentence, "李小龙的功夫比成龙厉害多了", why isn't there a 的 after 成龙? The way the sentence is now seems like it means “Bruce Lee's kungfu is much better than Jackie Chan".
If the sentence were "李小龙比成龙厉害多了", then I wouldn't have any questions, but the first sentence seems weird that way.
