ah yes, that youtube one rang a bell as soon as I read it. Didn't know that was the ongoing reason. I guess the reasons may be kept close to the chest. thanks Rj :)

thanks mate.

"A tiny minority bother reading anything in English "

..this I didn't know.

"but by Chinese and in Chinese"

..ok, well that's a plausible explanation. Still, I'd be interested in why a lot of other stuff is blocked. Isn't youtube blocked for example? Is that just for it's Chinese content? Perhaps this is a different kettle of fish as reading English is one thing, and watching video content in English is another. I would think they're trying to block more than ABC's there.

"It usually works.."

..George, is it necessary to wear the hat to get it to work?

thanks guys. I was wondering the same thing as Chris. For some reason I thought pleco was already on adroid but I couldn't find it searching for it either. It kept giving one result..a chinese dictionary. I guess this dictionary must have mentioned somewhere some connection to pleco. This will be interesting to watch developments.

which ones aren't working?...I can see them all. I wonder if you are in China and some of them are blocked for you.

Which one's do you want more pictures of?

I mostly agree with you. I was thinking the murder of the wife likely came first [having discovered his wife's affair], and that the old guy was murdered both in rage and to retrieve the key to get into the cellar. It certainly then looks like a suicide with the gas bottle but on this point I'm not so sure. A couple of things remain unanswered. Why was the key still in the door ...did it accidentally shut behind him?...or was there another party who having led him down to the cellar, shut the door on him...kind of a trap. That's why I can't help but wonder if the dead young guy is her lover and it was the unseen kid [son] who wasn't too impressed with that situation either who led the young guy down there into a trap with the gas bottle going and locked him in. He then called the police. Otherwise how was gas coming out of an airtight room? [ and why was the young policeman not worried about open flames until the door was going to be opened?]. I hope the answer at least is an airtight case. Looks like we might have to wait another week to find out. Thanks for your thoughts. Hey, just noticed the ripening the fruit thing with the gas....nice thinking...that never occurred to me at all.

“mostly in chinese”

。。interesting....one might have anticipated that it would be foreign influences they'd try to block

yeah well just shows when you let users define words...folk make up their own language..

I guess you could probably divide that number of definitions by 5 [I'm guessing here] to give you roughly the number of words [or terms might be a better word for it] that have been defined in urbandictionary as each word has several definitions often with pretty much the same meaning but just explained differently by different users.
