Xiao You said: “The middle-aged male victim is named Wu Guoqing. He was a wholesale fruit salesman and lived in room 203 in building 85. He rented the basement and used it for storage; he was the only one with a key to it. It seems that Wu Guoqing had few friends and his relatives also lived far away. According to residents in the compound, there was also a woman who lived with him in room 203. She was very beautiful and was probably his wife. However, according to various tips, she had also practiced prostitution in the past. After she married Wu Guoqing, her life gradually became more stable. But no one could have guessed that later, due to gambling, Wu Guoqing would often abuse her. The forensics team is currently conducting an autopsy on the female victim. Wang Qiang said: “Wu Guoqing apparently also has a child. We know this because the woman who works at the small shop recalled that he had bought five birthday cards from her, saying he wanted to make up for all of his son’s birthdays at once.”
李探长问：“咳，那孩子真可怜，年纪还那么小。那小孩现在在哪儿？”
Lǐ Tànzhǎng wèn ：“hài ，nà háizi zhēn kělián ，niánjì hái nàme xiǎo 。nà xiǎohái xiànzài zài nǎr ？”
Detective Li said: “Oh, that poor child. He’s so young! Where is he now?”
