lvbin,

I think what you're experiencing is an itunes thing. If you haven't actually listened to any of the podcasts in a while itunes decides to stop automatically downloading again. To get up and running again you just need to open itunes , go to podcasts, cpod podcasts and up the top under podcast on the left there should be a little dot....if you click on this it should give you the message about not automatically downloading and give you an option to click on if you want to start automatically downloading again. Good luck :)

小虎,

噢,我考虑你是否还在中国,很高兴听到你的生活那么好

我还可以,不巧还没去过中国【住在澳洲】,可是我肯定有天会去

你在中国教书哪里?我很希望你会分享你的中国经验。

pheonixmandarinnewbie,

sorry, just curious, what do you mean by "I want to talk into a fan"?

..I know it changes your voice when you do that, but I don't know the expression per se.

btw, many consider the QW the very best of the lessons, so it's great they're free. Good luck with your studies. :)

我同意。I don't mind them mixing it up, and the whole team are great, but definitely it's been too long between drinks since we've heard Lili. I love her sense of humour which makes listening to QW such a pleasure and not like studying at all. She's great at giving the Chinese learners viewpoint.

great idea...a lesson using formal language followed by one using everyday language. Interesting that the more formal language was in a level higher, as I guess it's just less common.
