December 9, 2013 at 7:12 AMluobinzhenmei stopped by the CPod office today and we had a talk about "Walkabout". The movie was made before my time, but I did see it on TV when I was a kid. I'm not sure if that's how I first heard about the term "walkabout", but it definitely could be!

December 3, 2013 at 6:26 AMLooking at the context in the dialogue, you wouldn't want to replace 再 with 多 here. The sentence 我要多涂一点放晒霜 implies that the speaker is talking about putting on a lot of sunblock. However, we have no idea if the speaker has already put any on or not.
As you pointed out, the use of 再 implies that the speaker is putting on the sunblock again. While the "again" isn't translated directly into English, it's there in the context.

September 24, 2013 at 2:38 AM"Undergraduate course" was meant to mean "undergraduate program" here. Sorry about the mix-up. The system in China is similar to that in the West where a program is composed of many different courses, etc.
