Posted on: Describing Weird Textures
October 27, 2017 at 7:50 PMThis was awesome. I notice that Fiona pronounced 质地 as zhídì, but the dictionary says zhìdì. Is this a regional variation?
Also, how would you describe the differences between furry, shaggy, scratchy and fluffy textures?

August 3, 2017 at 5:01 PMI've been watching these guys for a couple of years, waiting for more titles to come out and pondering whether or not to acquire an e-reader or get the physical copies. I'm glad to see they have more books than the last time I checked, though I would like have the option of starting with simplified in an e-book, which doesn't seem to be available. Nevertheless, so glad you're teaming up with them.

July 7, 2017 at 7:05 PMOo, thank you! This is so helpful. Ever since our conversation that day, I have been thinking about this expression as carrying a tone of "don't blame me, can't you see how this isn't my fault?" It's very useful to have it all spelled out like this with so many different examples. I hope other people find and enjoy this video too.
