In Canada it really depends on where you live. I have lived in some cities that required swimming caps and other cities where you don't need to wear one.

I thought that this lesson was great. It great a nice clear intro and went into a lot of detail on the differences and uses between the two characters.

The new video player looks fantastic and the video quality is also great. Well done ChinesePod team, I'm looking forward to similar content in the future!

I am currently using Skritter on my tablet to help me learn Chinese characters but you can also use the website. It's basically the best option out there at the moment for learning characters and was recommended to me by other ChinesePod members.

Hi Fi,

I also have problems with these abbreviations and get confused when hearing them in conversations. Would it be possible to do a Qing Wen or future lesson talking about these abbreviations that are common to find in daily speech.
