autumn, Thanks for spotting that. We have re-generated and re-uploaded the MP3 so that everything is hunky-dory again. Enjoy!

The MP3 link was hiding for an hour or so. Sorry about that! It should be there now.

f1b1, The syllable "ma" is pronounced similarly to the English word "mop." The syllable "me" is pronounced similarly to the English word "mother."

LaoLong, I agree about the exercises. We will be updating them soon. I think the "phrase flashcards" is a cool idea. It should be technically feasible. We will look into it. Thanks for the good ideas!

雷高锐, To supplement Jenny's answer... "western toilet" is usually called a 马桶 (mǎtǒng) in Chinese. So to ask if there is one nearby, you would say: 附近有马桶吗? (Fùjìn yǒu mǎtǒng ma?) There's a problem with this sentence, though. No one ever says it. It's weird. Chinese people just ask for the 厕所 (cèsuǒ) and use whichever kind is there. So you could try to use the above sentence, but it might get some laughs, or your "马桶" (mǎtǒng) might be interpreted as just any old 厕所 (cèsuǒ). A Chinese-style squat toilet can be called a 蹲坑 (dūnkēng), but the Chinese don't frequently make this distinction. Good luck with these! :)

Henning, You found one of the secret updates. The dialogue is mostly intact, but the podcast and materials were completely redone.
