Hello, that's a good question! 着 can be used to represent a continuous state and it doesn't imply change of state. In the sentence 多穿衣服, it doesn't need the 着 because it is only a general suggestion that is not related to the current state.

Does this make sense?

Hello! This is a very good question! You can say both in this case. 到几楼 and 去几楼 would mean the same thing in the context of saying which floor do you want to go.

Hi Alison, thank you for the comment. I'm very glad that you enjoyed this lesson!

Have you checked out this lesson?

COVID-19, Rumors and Beer

https://www.chinesepod.com/lesson/covid-19-rumors-and-beer

This is an intermediate video that's also about Covid-19 but it's easier than most lessons at the same level. I'm sure you'll like it!

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Just to reconfirm, do you find the lessons around 2015 (including this lesson) harder than the ones before that? Or did you mean the latest lessons that we have published (in 2020) are too difficult?

Hi Halifax, yes you're right, "even" is a very versatile word in English and there are a number of ways to express that in Chinese.

Going back to your examples,

I haven't even eaten breakfast yet.
The room is so crowded that people even sit on the tables.
I don't even know how to translate these sentences.
Eva counts even numbers even in the evenings.

The difference of 连 and 甚至 is that 甚至 sounds much stronger and formal, and there're also some intricate varieties between them that were not covered in the lesson. Thank you for the feedback!

Hello, it's a good question!

小姐 used to have a negative connotation in mainland China, but it has been widely accepted over the years, and you can hear it often in formal occasions as well. This term is very commonly used in Taiwan.

女士 [nǚ shì] is a good substitution to avoid any unnecessary confusion! Hope this helps.
