December 11, 2014 at 2:05 AMDepending on context and the tone of the speakers voice ‘這樣啊’ could imply contempt, surprise, joy, reluctance, disappointment, suspicion, scepticism, or even inquiry. In the context of this lesson it would appear the speaker is somewhat reluctant to lend money.
Btw, having someone that is willing to correct your mistakes and introduce more accurate vocab or sentence structure is gold.
